DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand!\nOur last Chilli Night went down so well\, there have been loads of requests for another. So\, the Chilli Chefs – Bob Wailling\, and Neil and Lindsey Heward – will be serving up meat and vegetarian chilli\, rice\, naan breads\, guacamole\,  and a side salad or two.\nThis will be a paid-for event and although we haven’t yet decided on the cost for Members and guests\, we reckon it will be around £10 per person. SUMMARY:Bringing back the Blues
DESCRIPTION:The outstanding NCC House Blues Band will be playing for us again this year and they are lined up to plat two gigs – on Saturday 26 April and Saturday 6 September.\nThe band is part of the NCC’s staple diet of entertainment and Members who are adept at playing an instrument can join in one of the jam sessions. DESCRIPTION:Our Cheese ‘n’ Pickle Club is held at 12.30pm on the first Thursday of every month – January and July excepted.\nWe provide a wide range of cheese and pickles from far and wide\, as well as accompanying bread and crackers. And cheese’s favourite partner\, Port\, is available.\nThere is no fee for joining this exclusive club\, nor is there an on-the-day charge\, but we do request all those who participate make a realistic donation to help cover costs.

DESCRIPTION:It’s been a while since barbeques have been part of the NCC itinerary\, so we thought it was time we did something about it. The result is that we will be holding a barbeque on the afternoon of Sunday 24 August. Sunday afternoon?! we hear you say. No need to worry because it’s a Bank Holiday weekend\, which means you can have some Sunday fun and not worry about working the next day!\nBangers and burgers will feature large\, as will corn on the cobs\, salads and other barbeque goodies. You will even get a free glass of Pimm’s.\nThe cost is just £10 per person and payment needs to be made in advance\, so give your name\, along with the appropriate sum of money\, to a member of  of the bar team and put your name on the form on the main noticeboard.\nLook forward to seeing you!
