The Jockey Club describes the Cheltenham Gold Cup as “The pinnacle of Jump Racing, where winners go down in history”. And there have been many historic NCC moments over the years as fans and punters alike have descended on the Club to watch one of the biggest races in the calendar.
This year, Gold Cup Day is on Friday 13 March and we look forward to Members and their guests enjoying a few drinks and watching one of the most popular races.
The first race is at 1.20pm, with the Gold Cup due to be off at 4pm. As ever, Michael Davey will be present to run a book on the day, while some racing snacks will also be provided.
It’s a racing certainty that you will have a great time – and the entire Cheltenham Festival, which starts on Tuesday 10 March, can be viewed in the comfort of the NCC.
