The Grand National is the most popular race of the year, when people who never bet can’t resist laying out a few quid on a nag which carries the name of a long-forgotten great aunt. The big race is due off at 4pm and there is plenty of activity before then in the shape of Norwich v Ipswich.

Ipswich are doing their best to avoid automatic promotion from the Championship; Norwich are doing their best to make the play-offs, although that’s a long shot.
