We turned 80 on January 18 2024 and to celebrate this momentous occasion, over 70 Members met for a celebratory three-course dinner at the St John’s Centre on Friday 16 February.
Chairman Geoff Davey made a welcome address, while Vice Chairman Bob Wailling spoke about the need to encourage more Members to visit the Club more regularly, as well as the need for different “income streams”, such as the 150 Club which has now been launched. At the same time as the anniversary dinner, the Club held its first-ever Ladies’ Night, organised by Hazel Linscott, which saw cocktails and champagne flow.

The men returned to join in the fun and for free Port, supplied by President, John Davey.
