This year’s AGM was held on Tuesday 26 March and was attended by forty members. They heard:
President John Davey announced that the agreed new lease, which runs until December 2039, has now been signed so putting the Club in “a really good position to move ahead”. John announced a Life Membership for retiring Secretary Paul Woodwards, and he thanked Lindsey Heward, Hazel Linscott and Heather Halls for their extremely valuable contributions over the last twelve months.
New Secretary, Steve Jones, thanked John Davey for his long-standing commitment to the Club and highlighted the dedication and efforts of a number of individuals under trying circumstances. He also praised the work of the bar team, under the management of Danielle, for
“their superb efforts”.
Chairman Geoff Davey echoed these sentiments, adding that the various new products make the NCC “one of the most exciting bars in Colchester”.
There were two vacancies for the Committee and Andy Totham and Peter Gore were duly elected.
